Prophetic Word for 2018: A Year of Consecration and Divine Appointments

2018 will be a year of consecration and a year of divine appointments.

Each person may be at a different phase in these aspects but we will all come together to fulfill His words in our life.

And these will be the anchoring Biblical keys:

1. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done
2018 is a year where God wants us to consecrate our lives and be willing to say to Him, Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in my life. In all our plans and decisions, we need to seek Him to know if that's what God wants us to do this season.

2. Be willing and obedient and you shall eat the good of the land.
When we hear God's will for us, we need to be willing and be obedient to follow His will. And God promised in Isa 1:19 that as we do it, we shall be blessed, we shall eat the good of the land and be well provided for.

3. Abide in Christ and His words and we will bear fruits and fruits that should remain.

We need to abide in Christ and His words. He is the vine and we are the branches. When we do God's will, we need to be continually rooted in Christ and His words. Otherwise if we deviate we will be like the withered branches. But if we remain in Him, we will become fruitful and productive. John 15:1-8

4. Love God wholeheartedly and love people fervently
2018 is a year that we shall continue to consecrate ourselves to seek God, to have divine encounters with Him and meet Him face to face, to love Him wholeheartedly.
As we love Him and receive His touch and love, God wants us to pour out His love in us to love other people.  We should love other people the way He loves us in 1 Cor 13. (Patient, kind, not easily provoked, not easily angry, not jealous, not self-seeking etc)

5. From Divine encounters to Divine appointments
As we consecrate to love God, to love people and always seek to do His will, He will put us in His divine appointments for us, so that we will be fruitful and fulfill His commandments to love people.
What are divine appointments? They are divine places, people, connections and positions that God will put us in or bring us to, so that we will fulfill what He has called us to do.

John 15:16‭-‬17
You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.  These things I command you, that you love one another.
