God's love is a fact and it is powerful. God's love for us brings about His Defense for us. He will defend us from the accusations and attacks from the devil. Indeed as what Rom 8:31 says, if God is for us, who can be against us? So you do not need to feel defeated. Defeat is a feeling and is NOT God's fact. God's fact is Deliverance.
