The Author and Finisher of our faith
I am convinced, after being a Christian for almost 20 years, that our lives don't revolve around God. Even if we are actively serving Him in church or in the mission fields. Even if we are always praying and reading the Bible. Even if we are constantly in Christian fellowship and go for seminars and conferences apart from church services and cell group. The truth is, God Himself revolves around our lives, whether we like it or not. Before I became a Christian, I have had no encounters with God. But God had made sure that He places people and situations in my life to steer me towards Him. He knows the beginning till the end. He knows us inside out. He already knew how we would react and what we would say. Looking back, I saw myself going from a baby Christian, to a mature Christian, to a proud Christian, to a laid back Christian to a depressed Christian, and now a Christian on fire. A Christian on fire means, to desire God. Desire to know Him more. Desire to know His word ...
