What is our existence for?

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs. Mark 16:19‭-‬20 ESV "They went out and preached everywhere, while THE LORD WORKED WITH THEM and CONFIRMED THE MESSAGE BY ACCOMPANYING SIGNS . Our life is a message. Everywhere we go, we are preaching a message. We are the message. And the Lord will work with us. And the message that we carry, which is our life message, will be confirmed by accompanying signs. Signs of healing and deliverance, miracles and faith. So find our life message. There is only one message we have. Our life is written in the bible. Find it.

How to pray the Word?

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. ( Matthew 24:35 NKJV) Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. ( Mark 13:31 NKJV) Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. ( Luke 21:33 NKJV) Out of the 4 gospels, 3 of them stated the same verse. It must have been something so impressionable and significant that Jesus said during His ministry that it imprinted into the disciples' hearts in a deep way. The Word of God is true. It never fails. That's why we take verses and hold it in our hearts, so that we can be reminded of His promises. Today, let's try something different. Instead of just holding on to the word/verse, let's declare them over our lives. I was having some problems with my daughter of 10 years old. And I was just praying to God, asking Him to come and intervene. And Holy Spirit led me to Proverbs 31, The Passion Translation.  As I read the verses about "The Radi...

What if God calls you at age 75?

GENESIS 12:4 AMP So Abram departed [in faithful obedience] as the Lord had directed him; and Lot [his nephew] left with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. Abraham was already seventy-five years old when the Lord called him to leave his father's house, away from his relatives and out of his own country into the land of Canaan. At the age of 75, will you be willing to leave your country to a new land and start all over again? It is the age of rest and retirement and you just want to have a stable life to relax and enjoy. Even if God calls you to do so and gave you such a wonderful promise of great blessings, you will either doubt if you hear correctly from God and then reject it or you will still reject and tell Him that you wouldn't wish to go. But this is not so for Abraham. He had a whole clan of people he needed to bring along with him - his wife, his nephew, their possessions and all their servants. Yet, he immediately departed in faithful obedien...

Why Forgiveness is So Important?

Matthew 6:12 TPT Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. MATTHEW 6:14‭-‬15 AMP 14 For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  15 But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses. There is a very important part in the Lord's prayers Jesus has taught us that he reiterated after he finished saying it. It is regarding his call to us to release forgiveness to others. The amplified Bible explains clearly in Matt 6:15 on why it is important to forgive others. It says that when you do not forgive others, you are nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God. How very true this is! When we hold on to unforgiveness, it is because we ar...

Our God of Hope

Romans 15:13 NKJV Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 TPT Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! To be heading somewhere in our life, we need to hope in something. If we have no hope in anything, we will lose even the will to live. It is good to have hope in life. But in order to have a hope that will give us certainty and assurance we have to go back to the source of all hope, which is God Himself. Our God is also called the God of hope. When we hope in God and trust in Him, He will fill us with joy and perfect peace. Men may disappoint us and situations may fail us. But when you hope in God, God will never disappoint us. In fact, God wi...

Holy Spirit the Spirit of Wisdom

Luke 12:12 TPT Simply be confident and allow the Spirit of Wisdom access to your heart, and he will reveal in that very moment what you are to say to them.” Acts 6:10 TPT But the Holy Spirit gave Stephen remarkable wisdom to answer them. His words were prompted by the Holy Spirit, and they could not refute what he said. God is such a good God who gives wonderful gifts to us! After He gave us a gift of eternal life through Jesus' death and resurrection, He gave us the gift of Holy Spirit as our Helper. This is one amazing gift after another! When we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Holy Spirit will teach us, guide and lead us into all truth. Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and his serving was accompany with many miracles, signs and wonders. As such it upset some men from a sect to argue with him. But Holy Spirit gave Stephen remarkable wisdom to answer them and they were unable to refute what he said. As be...

Getting down Our Knees to Serve

John 13:4‭-‬5 TPT 4 So he got up from the meal and took off his outer robe, and took a towel and wrapped it around his waist. 5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ dirty feet and dry them with his towel. John 13:17 TPT So now put into practice what I have done for you, and you will experience a life of happiness enriched with untold blessings!” Jesus is our wonderful Savior. He is our King of kings and the Lord of lords. Yet he humbled and lowered himself again and again to demonstrate his love for us. One great example is shown in John 13:1-17. Although Jesus walked in great authority and power, he did not mind going down his knees to wash his disciples' feet. When we walk, our feet will become dirty. This is true in the physical but also a reflection of our walk with God. Jesus was demonstrating that he came to cleanse our life from all filthiness. As we allow Jesus to cleanse us, then we can become part ...

Guarding Our Heart Against Offenses

Luke 17:1 NKJV Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! I love how Jesus taught us very real and practical things. But they are also hard truths that we need to know and manage them so that we can live a victorious Christian life. Here in Luke 17:1, Jesus warned us of two things. One, that offenses would definitely come. Secondly, that we should not be those who bring on the offenses. Although it is unavoidable to have offenses coming to us but we can choose not to be offended. We need to guard our heart with all due diligence and not allow the offenses to affect and hurt us. Guarding our heart is not merely ignoring the offenses, brushing them off or shutting yourself off emotionally. We guard our heart with meditating on the word of God and by being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We also need to enlarge our heart, show more grace and be more forgiving to people so that we will not ...

Step out into Your Healing & Breakthrough

Luke 17:14‭-‬15 NKJV 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, Our God is a God of manifold wisdom, works, mercy and grace. He has many wondrous ways of doing things and reaching out to us. During Jesus' ministry, he prayed for many people who were sick and they were healed immediately. The blind could see, the lame walked and the demon-possessed were set free. In the case of the ten lepers coming to him to ask for mercy, Jesus didn't heal them on the spot. Instead Jesus instructed them to go show themselves to the priests. Notice that Jesus did not even mention any prayer or words like "be healed" which he usually did. The ten lepers could have gotten upset. I am sure they have heard and even witnessed of how many came to Jesus and were healed immediately, including other...

Saying Yes to God's Promises

2 Corinthians 1:20‭-‬22 MSG Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us. By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete. 2 Corinthians 1:20 AMP For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God. Our God is a Promise-Maker and a Promise-Keeper. It has been estimated that there are over 7,000 promises of God in the Bible! Why does God want to make so many promises? It shows how much He loves us and how much He is committed to us. A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen. Every word of God is true. God's words are definite, complete and final. Heaven and earth will pa...
