The Author and Finisher of our faith

I am convinced, after being a Christian for almost 20 years, that our lives don't revolve around God. Even if we are actively serving Him in church or in the mission fields. Even if we are always praying and reading the Bible. Even if we are constantly in Christian fellowship and go for seminars and conferences apart from church services and cell group. The truth is, God Himself revolves around our lives, whether we like it or not. Before I became a Christian, I have had no encounters with God. But God had made sure that He places people and situations in my life to steer me towards Him. He knows the beginning till the end. He knows us inside out. He already knew how we would react and what we would say. Looking back, I saw myself going from a baby Christian, to a mature Christian, to a proud Christian, to a laid back Christian to a depressed Christian, and now a Christian on fire. Don't Give Up; Don't Quit on God

We live in an imperfect, broken down world. Life is not a bed of roses and we will go through seasons of good and bad times. When all is well, it is easy to thank and praise God. But when things go wrong, can we still believe that He is good? Or we may even entertain thoughts of blaming God that He allows bad things to happen to us. God is not a schizophrenia. He is not good one day and bad the next. He is a good and unchanging God. The scriptures in Heb 13:8 assures us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. You may be encountering a roadblock. Things are stuck and you wonder if you will ever get out of this fix. There seems to be no solution and no way out. You may feel that you are stuck in a season and nothing will change in your situation. Our seasons in life is much liken to the four seasons of nature: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
